Caroline Lost has penned hits for artists across the globe, picking up a gold disc for Hanna Pakerinen's version of Go Go from the album Lovers (2007), and another for Natalie Bassingthwaighte's gold-selling album 1000 Stars (2009) - featuring the Lost/Ashurst penned dancefloor hit Could You Be Loved - which debuted at number one in the Australian Music Charts. She collected a platinum disc for her work on Will Young's UK top ten album The Hits (2009) with another Ashurst/Lost collaboration If It Hadn't Been For Love.
Her songs have featured in a raft of major motion pictures, including Triangle 2009 (Summertimin'), The Secret of Moonacre 2009 (Stars), A Bunch of Amateurs 2008 (Still in the Game), Miss Conception 2008 (Everything I Wanted), Severance 2006 (Summertimin'), Pandemic 2007 (Hello) and Chasing Liberty 2003 (To Be With You), and she has provided vocals for the scores of Chronicles Of Narnia (2005), Diameter of the Bomb (2004) and The Devil's Double (2011).
Her television work includes writing for Kohler's worldwide campaign for Flipside Showers (2010/2011) as well as providing vocals for Lynx/Axe European campaign Falling Angels (2011).
Caroline's album One More Nail, released through AG Records, is available on iTunes and all good digital download stores worldwide. Working with film composer Christian Henson, Caroline has woven a mellifluous blend of sharp, lovelorn lyrics and scintillating vocals, all set to a bracingly original backing of organs and banjos, trumpets and cellos, xylophones and drums.
