OASIS - THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE
Written by Caroline Lost
Caroline has been a published songwriter these past few years, penning hits for artists across the globe and picking up a double-platinum disc for Hanna Pakerinen's version of Go Go from the album Lovers (2007), a slice of booty-shaking pop perfection, whilst also contributing the mellow and haunting Wake the Sun to Sasha's top ten European album Open Water (2006). More recently Natalie Bassingthwaighte's Platinum-selling album 1000 Stars (2009) - featuring the Lost/Ashurst penned dancefloor hit Could You Be Loved - debuted at number one in the Australian Music Charts and most recently her work has featured on Will Young's UK top ten album The Hits (2009) with another Ashurst/Lost collaboration If It Hadn't Been For Love.
Her songs have also featured in a raft of major motion pictures, including Triangle 2009 (Summertimin'), The Secret of Moonacre 2009 (Stars), A Bunch of Amateurs 2008 (Still in the Game), Miss Conception 2008 (Everything I Wanted), Severance 2006 (Summertimin'), Pandemic 2007 (Hello) and Chasing Liberty 2003 (To Be With You), as well as vocal sessions for Chronicles Of Narnia and Diameter of the Bomb.
